Year 6 explore the fundamentals of robotics

Our Year 6 students have been enthusiastically learning how to build and program LEGO robots as part of an exciting STEM Kindle unit.

Using LEGO Mindstorms kits, they explored the fundamentals of robotics, including sensor integration, movement coding, and problem-solving strategies. The unit culminated in a thrilling Sumo-Bot competition, where students pitted their robots against one another in a friendly battle of strategy, design, and coding skills. The challenge fostered creativity, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of engineering principles in a fun and engaging way.
