Year 6 students are presenting speeches about their chosen changemaker - important person in history.

Our Changemakers Living Museum

As part of our Human Rights and Activist unit, this week the Year 6 students showcased their very first ‘Changemakers Living Museum’. A changemaker is someone who takes creative action to solve a societal problem. The students took on the persona of their chosen changemaker, and displayed their research skills with the use of very entertaining and informative slideshows and speeches. They even donned costumes of their favourite changemakers and activists from Malala Yousafzai to Oskar Schindler to Greta Thunberg.

It was a successful evening and a great opportunity for students to share with their parents the meaningful impact that activists have had on society and themselves.
