Our B’nai B’rith Art Achievements
On Sunday at Glen Eira Town Hall an award ceremony took place for the B’nai B’rith Youth Art Competition. The competition recognises exceptional art created by young people who go to Jewish schools, or Jewish young people at any school across – and this year even outside of – Victoria. Roughly 150 artworks were exhibited: the best of the best that Jewish student art has to offer.
Overall, 23 King David students from Years 6-12 had works exhibited as part of the competition, and of that cohort seven of our students were honoured with awards. We congratulate Yoav (Year 6), Mae (Year 8), Evie (Year 10), Aidan (Year 12), Jules (Year 12), Hannah (Year 12) and Milo (Year 12) on their fantastic achievements.
