Kiera wins the Victorian final of The Voice – UN Speech Competition

Year 10 student Kiera recently won the Victorian final of the UN Youth individual public speaking competition, called The Voice. Competitiors are given just a few days notice to create their arguments. After making it the Victorian semi-final, Kiera won the final last weekend and now proceeds to the Australia wide competition next year, as the Victorian candidate.

This follows Kiera representing King David in the Model UN Evatt competition whereupon competitors represent a country, putting forward motions and blocking others. Kiera, alongside her friend Manny  (Preshil), made it through to the final of this competition but did not win.

Kol HaKavod Kiera! Wishing you behatzlacha at the Australian final!
