KDS comes second at the ABL Jewish Interschools Skiing Competition

The King David School was proud to send a large and enthusiastic contingent to the 2025 ABL Jewish Interschools Skiing Competition at Mt Buller on 28 and 29 July – our biggest representation in many years! Please click here to see photos from the competition.

Among the competitors were two talented students from our Junior School, Macy and Eitan, who skied with confidence and spirit. They were joined by a large group from our Secondary School, who showcased outstanding skill, teamwork and determination on the slopes.

We are thrilled to announce that The King David School placed second overall in the secondary competition, a remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication and sportsmanship of our students.

KDS students also took part in the Michael Coppel Theatrical Maccabi Snow Sports Events, which featured the largest number of competitors in the event’s history. Our students achieved fabulous results, once again demonstrating their talent and commitment on the snow.

A special thank you goes to Jasper Harris (Class of 2020), who led race training sessions leading up to the event and supported our competitors on the day. His expertise, encouragement and passion for snow sports made a real difference to the team’s performance.

Congratulations to all participants for representing KDS with pride and enthusiasm. We look forward to building on this momentum in the years to come!
