Year 7 students started their Classroom Music elective this week and because of the lockdown, received instruction online. Their first lesson involved instruction on how to assemble the instrument, hold it correctly and make their first sounds.

The program is open to all students regardless of their level of musical experience and takes place three times a fortnight as a scheduled class. Students have the option of learning either flute, clarinet, trumpet or trombone. They each receive a hire instrument for the entire semester at no cost.
