Geshem in Gan Te’ena
Although we are halfway through Winter, this week felt like the beginning of Spring with lots of ‘Shemesh’ (sun) to warm us up.
Last term we started checking on the weather at the beginning of each Hebrew session and the children are trying to tell if there is Geshem (rain) or Shemesh (sun) in Hebrew.
This week was all about ‘Geshem’ (rain)! Since no Geshem was around, we pretended to have some, by using ‘Mitria’ (an umbrella in Hebrew), water spray and singing!
