A team of 78 students competed on Friday in the EISM Athletics Carnival held at Lakeside Stadium. In what was a magnificent Autumn Melbourne day our students ran, jumped and threw themselves into every event, both in team and individual events. 

The day was filled with ribbons from our amazing athletes as they competed all day. The highlight of the day was the performance of our electrifying Year 7 Girls’ team who were named EISM Champions in their age group. Frankie, Ava, Abi, Mia, Paloma, Arbelle & Pearl all contributed to what was a memorable day. Frankie & Ava had a great day featuring in six first place events (three each). The two girls together won all the track events for their age group: Frankie: 100m, 200m & Ava 400m, 800m, 1500m.

Juliet (Year 11) won the open shot put and Nakita (Year 11) had a great day, winning the 200m and the long jump and gaining multiple 2nd place finishes on the track.

Levi (Year 8) also had a terrific day, winning the triple jump and placing in other events throughout the day.
