This week, 26 of our finest long distance runners from Years 4-6 participated in the Balaclava District Cross Country Carnival. The sun was shining on Dendy Park ensuring a great day for running. The students performed at their best with some excellent results. Our best result for the boys was an 11th place finish for Jacob Fleiszig (Year 5) and our star female performer was Ruby Page (Year 6) who finished 13th in her race. Levi Grundmann (Year 4) and Emily Ovadia (Year 4) also performed amazingly finishing 16th and 17th respectively. With close to 60 runners in each race many of our students finished in the top 30. Well done to all students who did their best completing the tough circuit.
