Annually, our Year 11 students are offered the opportunity to participate in the Amit Peer-Leadership program as student leaders. As part of this program, these students will facilitate experiential programs for Year 7s which will assist in the development of Year 7 student wellbeing, integration and engagement in Jewish life. In order to prepare for this important program, the Amit leaders participated in a training day recently. All students showed incredible potential as leaders, bringing lots of energy, passion, and intention to the discussions and activities. Throughout the day we explored different types of leaders, the skills required for effective teamwork, communication, and facilitation.

We are excited to see this year’s Amit leaders flourish in their position and be great role models for the Year 7 cohort.
