In our Parashah unit, the Year 1 students learned about Noach (the story of Noach and the Ark). As part of our end-of-unit celebration, the students had a Noach and the Ark Experience. Students arrived at school dressed up as animals! Once they received their boarding pass, they were invited to board the Ark where they were greeted by Noach and his family. After a short introduction and a photo opportunity in front of the Ark, students participated in four activities connected to the themes in the Parashah. For Wellbeing students participated in an animal themed Yoga. They baked rainbow cupcakes and decorated them with clouds and a rainbow. They participated in Science experiments where they made rainbow in a straw. Students constructed a model of the ark and participated in a ‘Kahoot’ game to challenge their knowledge of the different numbers in the ark. 

We had a whale of a time!
