On Wednesday 3 September, King David’s Year 7 and Year 9 students competed in the Maccabi Cup soccer tournament.

The girls’ team delivered an outstanding performance with victories over Beth Rivkah, Mount Scopus, and Bialik, along with a hard-fought draw against Yavneh. Their efforts secured the top spot on the ladder and the title of champions of the girls’ competition!

The boys’ team faced tough opposition, falling just short against Mount Scopus by 2 goals and Bialik by a single goal.

A special mention goes to Year 7 student Abi, who was awarded the Sportsmanship Award for her outstanding display of respect and class both on and off the field.
