Celebrating Shavuot together

The ELC & Junior School children celebrated Shavuot today in grand style! As the chag was at the start of this week, today was the perfect day to be fully immersed in all things meaningful to this important festival. 

Prep students created Har Sinai crowns, Year 1s made Ten Commandment hand prints, Year 2s baked up a storm making cheese blintzes, Year 3s decorated pillowcases with Shivat HaMinim (the Seven Species) and Year 4s focussed on Luchot HaBrit (the Ten Commandments). Year 5 students visited Senior Kinder to create Mount Sinai replicas made from Lego.

All students then gathered for the much-loved annual assembly to witness Moshe receiving the Ten Commandments at Har Sinai.
