VCE Theatre Studies present a Very Jewish Christmas Carol
This week, the VCE Theatre Studies class presented three sold out performances of ‘A Very Jewish Christmas Carol’ by acclaimed playwright Elise Esther Hearst who is also a KDS alumni and current KDS parent.
The play is a black comedy that offers rich opportunities for our students to explore and develop their characters and interpret the play text, through their selected production roles. It was wonderful to see how our students interpreted the themes and issues referenced in this play: identity, grief and inherited trauma. We are immensely proud of their diligence and talents.
