The King David School in Melbourne is a co-educational progressive Jewish Day School catering for students from Preschool to VCE. Admissions Manager

Full Time position: commencing 16 February 2026 ending 1 February 2027

The King David School is seeking an exceptional and highly organised Admissions Manager to join our warm, dynamic school community. This is a fixed term contract, covering a period of maternity leave.

This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about community engagement, student experience, and representing the School with professionalism and warmth.

As the Admissions Manager, you will be the first point of connection for prospective families—cultivating meaningful relationships, guiding them through the enrolment process, and contributing to the growth and reputation of our School community.

Duties include:

  • Lead the end-to-end admissions process, from initial enquiries through to enrolment offers and onboarding.
  • Deliver warm, informative tours and host enrolment events that showcase the philosophy and spirit of our School.
  • Maintain accurate enrolment data and provide insights/reports to the Leadership Team.
  • Build positive, lasting relationships with prospective families.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • An understanding of school curriculum and teaching programs

Maintenance Officers

We are seeking two full time Maintenance officers to join our school facilities team.

Working with a small and dedicated crew, with collaborative and supportive management, the maintenance officer will be responsible for providing maintenance support to the school, ensuring buildings, properties, and major plant and equipment are adequately maintained to ensure a safe environment for students and staff. 

The school is seeking self-starters with excellent time management and the ability to effectively prioritise work schedules. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are important in a school environment, as is a strong customer service focus – a “can-do” attitude.

Onsite training will be provided to ensure knowledge of all principles of maintenance and activities required to maintain property, assets, grounds and equipment.  Basic tool knowledge would be desirable.

This is a full time position on campus.

A current employee Working with Children Check and driver’s license are essential.
