This week, our Year 8 students took the stage for their Passion for Thinking (P4T) TED-style presentations and completely blew us away! From the neuroscience of social approval and Formula 1 engineering to Auslan, Greek Mythology, the rise of ChatGPT, and confronting pressing real-world issues, our Middle Years learners dove deep into the topics that inspire them.
As Principal Marc Light noted, giving students autonomy encourages them to shape their learning journey around their individual interests. The depth of research, articulation, confidence, and creativity on display in every single presentation was unforgettable.
