With the largest team in year across Years 7-12, 58 KDS students participated in the EISM Cross Country Carnival held yesterday at Ruffey Lake Park. Some incredible highlights throughout the day including our Year 7s competing for the first time.

Ava M, Year 8 once again dominated the field winning the U14 division for the second year in a row with her running mate Abi T placing 4th overall in the same race.

Coby B, Year 8 achieved a wonderful result coming 2nd in the U14 boys division.

Itai S, Year 9 won the race in 2025 and this year came 2nd by 0.03 sec away from first place.

KDS also had many students placing in the top 20 of each race which is an outstanding performance.

As a team, KDS finished 4th overall and won the Most Improved School award.‍
