On Friday last week, Gan Seorah Kinder students visited Emmy Monash and shared Shabbat with the residents. This is the first of a number of intergenerational programs this year involving our Senior Kinder children.

The encounter was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and empathy. The children plaited challot with the residents, and then gifted flower pots to each person and sang Shabbat songs.

Bringing these two generations together was about sharing the invaluable gifts of friendship and mutual respect.
