Exploring food at South Melbourne Market

Year 7 Food and Society students explored South Melbourne Market today. They identified a variety of products sold in the market and its origins. Students visited the Deli Hall, candy shop, patisserie, cheese, and fresh produce, butcher and the fish shop, and many more. They had to figure out what products represent which cultures and explain the health benefits of eating fruit and vegetable that are in season.
