Adult Jewish Education - Cider, Canapes and Torah

Following on from our successful Wine and Cheese and Torah parent education session in the lead-up to Shavuot, we invite you to join us for an Canapes, Cider and Torah evening in the lead-up to Tisha B'Av (marking the destruction of the Temple).

We will learn about the significance of the Second Temple to Jewish life two millennia ago, the transformation which Judaism underwent in the wake its destruction, the connection between religion and the Arab/Israeli conflict today, especially in regard to the Har Habayit (The Temple Mount), and what meaning we might find in this period in contemporary times.
