Our outdoor education programs build students‘ independence, resilience and life skills

Educational Programs At King David, we’ve created a learning environment which lights the flame for students to strive for academic excellence and emotional intelligence. We pride ourselves on enriching each child with a diverse spectrum of offerings, including Arts, Music, Science & Technology and Sport.

We were the first Jewish school to invest heavily in a robotics program – which continues to win acclaim both in Australia and Internationally.

Our Performing Arts program, incorporating Drama and Music and culminating each year in our award-winning musicals provides our students the ability to develop their creativity and gives them the opportunity to develop life-long friendships across year levels.

Student Wellbeing programs are integral across the School. At King David, we strive for a holistic education, teaching resilience along with academic subjects, creativity along with self-worth, collaboration along with independence. We have been the “caring” school since our inception, and that is a legacy we fiercely protect.

At our core, we are a Jewish school, and Jewish Life permeates every aspect of every day at King David. Whether it be our whole-school celebrations of Purim and Yom Ha’atzmaut or our introduction to Jewish life and living in our Pre-School, King David creates and reinforces our students’ sense of community.

King David supports our Bar and Bat Mitzvah students with a dedicated learning program and provides the opportunity for our Year 10 cohort to visit Israel for a month long trip, engendering a love and deeper understanding of the Jewish homeland.

With The King David School’s modern approach to education, there are highly rewarding opportunities to sponsor programs such as:

  • Student Wellbeing
  • Philosophy
  • Robotics
  • Indigenous Collaboration
  • Visual and Performing Arts
  • Year 9 New Horizons
  • Year 10 ‘Yesh’ Israel experience
  • Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment
  • Flourish Early Teacher Training Program
  • Jewish Life Leadership Programs
  • And more…
