Tom Gorog – Scholarship Appeal Chair

“As one of the champions of the KDS Annual Scholarship Appeal, I would like to reach out and ask you to support this very important raising of funds. As the financial stress on young families increases, it is important that we continue our support of the Scholarship Fund. The School, as a responsible part of our community, offers a large number of unfunded places to selected students in order for them to achieve their dreams. The monies raised by the Scholarship Fund are put towards this community initiative. We should consider it a mitzvah to be in the position to be able to help make a difference to the education of a young student”.

As The King David School begins the most exciting chapter in our 38 year plus history, we continue our commitment to provide opportunity to all Jewish students via our Annual Scholarship Appeal. To our generous donors and philanthropic investors: we thank you for keeping Judaism relevant in a contemporary world and sponsoring the quality of our shared future”

Did you know?

A quarter of the students currently at The King David School are supported by our Annual Scholarship Appeal, via fee assistance, needs-based Bursaries or highly coveted merit-based Scholarships.

How can you help?

• Make a general donation to the Scholarship pool of funds • Establish a named Bursary to sponsor a child in financial need • Establish a named Academic Scholarship or specify your area of interest.

All donations to our Scholarship Fund are fully tax deductible.

Who benefits?

The sponsored child, the School community and the greater Jewish community all benefit when we pursue a Jewish education system accessible to all Jewish children. To support this important value, The King David School forgoes almost $3 million in fee relief and scholarships per year.

Why give?

Please give generously in support of future generations. Your donation will go directly to giving a helping hand so that more students can have the opportunity of a Modern Thinking Jewish education.
