The King David School has recently completed its most significant building project in our 40 year history – Chai Ve’kayam. Meaning “Life Everlasting”, this enormous project, which saw the creation of two brand new campuses, a state-of-the-art Kindergarten, a dedicated Performing and Visual Arts Centre and a multi-purpose hall was a long, and often difficult journey.
The members of the school community who volunteered their expertise and countless hours, the School Council, who kept a firm hand on the rudder, and the dedication of the staff enabled what seemed impossible, become possible.
And of course, none of this could have been achieved without the incredible generosity of our donors. We simply cannot thank them enough.
But, in order for King David to continue to thrive, we need to look to the future. To finally complete our building project we need your help. It is an extraordinary opportunity – to upgrade the learning environment at a school that both cherishes its traditions and history, while being very much focused on the future. The excitement of the whole school community; students, parents and staff is palpable as we enter a new phase in the life of The King David School.
By investing in future generations, your family legacy will be a permanent reminder and ensure more students have the opportunity of a Modern Thinking Jewish education in top class facilities. We look forward to discussing the alternatives with you. Naming rights for the new buildings and classroom facilities are also available. Your generosity will be remembered for many generations to come.
At this time, more than ever, the community must unite and invest in its continuity, and we invite you to join us in this pivotal time in our history.
