Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
In order to operate sucessfully in society and to enhance their education, students are taught specific skills in computer operations, presentation, word processing and typing. Beyond these skills, students use a wide range of software programs across subject areas.
Information and Communications Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum. Students participate in a range of ICT activities which focus on visualising, thinking, creating and communicating.
The use of Interactive Electronic Whiteboards enhances the children’s ICT experience. They can learn new computer software applications, run an adventure-type video game for creative writing, create podcasts, use comic book software, show videos or interact with other students from across the world and go on a ‘WebQuest.’
