Outdoor Education

Last week, Year 4 students set off for their three-day adventure to Wombat Corner, Emerald. Even though it was pouring with rain (and at times hailing!) the students’ enthusiasm didn’t fade. Canoeing, archery, and a low ropes course filled our students’ days with challenging fun. Students participated in an Indigenous education session on site. The ride on Puffing Billy on the way back to school was a thrill and excited calls for next year’s camp were heard from many. Below are a few reflections about their experience.

• I enjoyed camp as we got to have fun and work together with our friends – Cordi Korman
• Canoeing was a particularly fun experience. – Bradley Apel
• My highlight of camp was archery and how I improved in my ability through practice. – Lulu Freitag
• My most memorable memory of Year 4 camp was the Games room and all the activities that we shared. – Emmanuel Attias – Rabinowitz
