Mindfulness in Year 6

Kindle students in Year 6 have been learning that Mindfulness is not just about sitting cross legged and meditating. It is also about practising to be mindful in our every day lives and finding mindful activities that we enjoy and can also have have fun with.

Making collaborative Rock Mandalas requires patience, focus and stillness, especially when trying to balance them. Once they have been created they are then destroyed ready for others to use.

Big life lessons can be learnt from small acts.
