2012 KDS Golf Day

It was a mostly sunny day for the competent and not so competent golfers who attended our KDS Golf Day, held at Cranbourne Golf Course on Friday 23 November.

The consensus was that it was a “really fun event” with a “great atmosphere”.

In true King David community style, it was wonderful to see parents, grandparents, staff, and friends of the School support the event.

An Ambrose competition was played, in teams of four and there were a few interesting games introduced at some holes to make it even more fun.

The winning team, with Gary Peer as the captain, each won an X Golf Simulator Prize donated by House of Golf, along with a dozen new golf balls.

Our own Justin Baigel who captained his team, won second place.

We are very grateful to Jack Silberscher, grandfather of Poppy and Zoe, who assisted us with the planning and running of this event.

Many thanks also to our key sponsor, Gary Peer, as well as Jewish News.
