The King David School educates students from a broad spectrum of the Jewish community. In creating our future, there are a number of tax deductible alternatives available to donors to support the School in achieving its mission to provide a Modern Thinking Jewish education for future generations.
The School is commited to ensuring equity and opportunity for children seeking a Jewish education who would not usually have the means. As a proud and devoted Jewish school, The King David School forgoes substantial fees annually, with one quarter of students receiving some form of bursary, fee assistance or scholarship totalling in excess of $2 million per year.
The King David School Scholarship Fund
The King David School Scholarship Program offers substantial fee remission to families who are not able to access a Modern Thinking Jewish education. Scholarships are awarded in the areas of Academic, Music, Language, Performing Arts, Visual Communication and Sports to students demonstrating high levels of skill and/or success in their chosen field, combined with strong academic performance.
To honour significant scholarship donors, naming rights are available. The Scholarship Fund is registered as a Deductible Gift Recipient and as such any donation made to the Fund is fully tax deductible to the donor.
The King David School Building Fund
In the past twelve months, The King David School Council has been working on a rigorous strategic and master planning process. Our recently constructed facility, the Rebecca Magid Centre, has significantly improved the amenities for our students and has set the benchmark for the standard of facilities at our School going forward. The aim is to deliver campuses with buildings and associated infrastructure which will allow us to continue to improve the educational and pastoral outcomes for our children.
The Building Fund enables the School to expand and develop its buildings, equipment and facilities. The Building Fund is registered as a Deductible Gift Recipient and as such any donation made to the Fund is fully tax deductible to the donor.
The King David School Library Fund
The Library Fund enables the School to provide exceptional programs above and beyond each Year level curriculum which enhance the overall academic, creative and spiritual developments of all students. From Philosophy to Science, Technology to Talmud, donations to the Library Fund contribute to the exceptional education at The King David School.
The Library Fund is registered as a Deductible Gift Recipient and as such any donations made to the Fund is fully tax deductible to the donor.
