Sponsorship Opportunities As a School
of the community, King David is committed to developing
partnerships with a range of business and organisations
that are mutually beneficial; as a result it is
pleased to offer the following sponsorship opportunities.

Philanthropic Sponsorships
Independent Schools are built not by governments but
through the generosity of committed individuals who
see the value in supporting education to specific sections
of the community.
King David has been blessed in the past to have had
a number of major donors who have enabled it to grow
to where it is today, unfortunately these outstanding
individuals have passed on and the responsibility for
supporting the school passes to another generation.
With plans to upgrade the facilities and both Magid
and Southwick Campuses the School requires and additional
$20 million over the next 10 years. In addition it still
has to reduce the level of debt that has accumulated
as a result of the development of the Magid Institute.
The School invites donations from members of the School
and wider community towards a range of facilities and
programs encompassing the following areas;
Buildings
Library
Sports
Performing Arts
Scholarships
For further information on making a gift to the School
please call Michael Lynn (Business Manager), The King
David School on 9291 7925 or email busman@kds.vic.edu.au

Scholarships and Bursaries
The King David School ranks as one of Melbourne’s leading independent schools, catering for the individual needs of its students, fostering love of learning, creativity and self expression while celebrating Australian identity.
The King David School is committed to being a leading centre of innovative educational excellence within a Progressive Jewish framework which unites religious tradition, inclusiveness, gender equity, individual autonomy and advances social justice.
Our School creates resilient, independent and critical thinking young adults with an outstanding commitment to social justice, Jewish and Australian identity, and creativity.
The School strives to enrich the students’ experience by harmonising academic excellence with social and emotional well-being; supporting diversity and leadership; providing every student with opportunities to reach their full potential.
Scholarship Fund
The King David School has a unique opportunity through its Scholarship Fund to realise its vision of being a School that enables all students to access a Jewish education and optimise opportunities.
As part of its commitment to ensuring equity of access to this outstanding education, King David offers fee assistance to families through scholarships, bursaries and fee remissions, in excess of $2 million per year. This is a program supported by the whole School community as an expression of the schools commitment to social justice.
You too can support this commitment by providing opportunities for academically able and financially disadvantaged students to attend The King David School.
The Fund provides an opportunity for students to receive an education which supports nurtures and honours Jewish culture, traditions and values and provides the highest standards of academic achievement.
With the introduction of tax deductibility on scholarships and bursaries and with your help, the opportunity for the School to reach this dream comes closer to fulfilment.
